Pool Cabana Addition

This client of mine was referred to me by my husband (e2 Homes, Inc.), as he was completing the construction of a pool cabana and outdoor living area. Â For this project, I completed a quick sketch of the proposed landscape with plant names/locations, but without plant quantities. This type of design is very fast and costs less, but may be harder for the client to receive apples to apples bids from landscape contractors.

Price’s Container Garden

In early 2008, the client hired me to create a container garden within their existing screen enclosure around the pool deck. Â They had persistent drainage problems and wanted to remove all of the plantings and mulch. Â They desired gravel beds with containers that could contain the plantings.

I selected the containers and plants with the client, then handled all of the details – including: delivery of pots, installation of soil / plants, irrigation modifications, and I provided a lesson for the client on proper maintenance and pruning. See some photos below:

My client for this residential project is a well-known interior designer and had very specialized interests and tastes.
